Well the engine, brake and rear end swap are definitely going to take up your entire weekend. I think you should shoot for only 1 at a time.
As far as the AC goes your going to have to take the whole dash, including all of the fan and heater stuff. the wireing is about all that will be left unless you cut holes in your old dash and route the hoses to them.
The doors will swap no problem, hope they are the same color.
I don't know how to get the trim off, but someone had posted before about doing it. definitely get the crome it is hard to find good crome any where.
Does the 76 grill have the turn signals in it? if it does you can use it to make it look like a grabber grill that has the sport lamps in it.

: Well Friday I start, won't have any help until my brother comes over Saturday. I am going to start with the rear end. Then the front spindles. On Saturday, my brother and I will try the engine swap but before that I want you guys to give me some advice on a few things:
: The 76 has an AC dash and all the components so,I know I will take every bolt from the inside for that. Any tips on the MUST take things?
: The doors have the better style armrests and handles inside. Anyone see a problem with swapping those?
: The chrome trim above both side windows is better on the 76, in fact it is almost perfest with only a few little pit marks. The 71 is pretty bad by comparison. How the heck do you take that off?
