: My brother just put a 3.73 Posi rear-end in his 9" Rear End. He got the rear end at a swap meet from a reputable swapper that sells


rebuilt "pumpkins".

: Anyways, as he drives it and turns any corners, it makes really strange noises, like something is rubbing.....but nothing is. He was told that all "posi's" make this noise, and by driving in figure eights it will help break it in and alleviate the noise.

: So, is any of this true? Can anybody shed some light on this?
