I went to a cruise-in yesterday and for the first time ever, I saw a Maverick as an entry. I know people do enter them of course, but after goin to cruise-in's for a few years, I had yet to see one. This was a '76...blacked totally out. There was no chrome except for some on the wheels. I liked the way the bbumpers were painted ...for something different. He put the small bumpers on and swapped his glove box for the package tray. He also bolted on a big wide hood scoop (Paulie, still looking?). Anyway this was the coolest I have seen and is a motivational piece for me. I wish I had a camera along.....(*^&^%&*%*&^%*&% it!.....I told him about this web site, but I got the feeling he was annoyed by my interest in the car...even after telling him I've been working on mine for 10 years.....oh well. I also noted that his interior was very nice. He told me it was a Stallion model, but the only indicator I know of is the trick paint job, and obviously his had been changed. I needed to see something like this....my motivation was vanishing.....hahahhahahahhahaha!!!!!!
