: Hello TBR, I asked you last week about power vs manual brakes. Thanks for your first response. However, I didn't get a chance to get your response to the second question that I had before they shut down the message board. Here it is-will the manual discs be feel any different when applied as far as pedal pressure is concerned when compared to manual drums? My wife will be driving the car most of the time and she likes power brakes, steering and AC. I have the last two but wanted to get more info on the feel of manual discs. Also, you mentioned that the power systems are to "sensitive". Does this mean that with little pedal pressure you can lock-up the brakes without warning? I hate that feeling!!!! thanks in advance!

: : ...Sometimes it is just the novelty of seeing something that takes you back. I have also had it with my Triumph. The biggest thrill there was at an IRL race when a guy in a high$$ Porsche spotted my GT6 in the parking lot, locked his brakes & came over to talk nostalgia about his college days when he had one. Same with the Mav. Mustangs & Camaros are nice cars, but a dime a dozen. Mavs are unusual enough to get attention.

: :
: : : I am driving my Mav into a gas station, store or where ever and people come up to me and start talking about when they were in high school or when their parents owned one etc, etc. I have a Classic Mustang as well and frankly, I have it as concours ready as I intend to, while the Mav is a 20 footer but still gets more attention.

: : : Tells me that the Mav is coming into it's own as a classic car.

: : : BTW Doesn't the conversation always start out with, "I haven't seen one of those in years."
