The simple answer is "yes". You can retrofit an early Maverick with late model parts. There are only slight differences, for instance, the hole placement of the proportioning valve on the inner fender, and holes where the hard lines run down to their mooring points on the frame. These minor things are easily overcome with a little thought, planning, and measuring.
: Is there complete interchangability with disc brake systems within the 70-77 mavs/comets? In other words, will a newer (75-77) disc brake set-up work on 74 or earlier? I realize that if swithching to power you must use the brake pedal as well.
