Yes, the Granada rear drums will work (8-inch rear)....You must change the brake pedal assembly for the Power brake setup....For non-power, you need a shorter push-rod or the pedal will be WAAYY too high...

: ...without the power booster. I took everything from the donor except the master cylinder, which I got as a rebuilt unit. To be safe, I used the proportioning valve from the donor - why take chances? This required drilling another mounting hole in the fender (easy job)and rerouting the brake lines at the wheel (another easy job). I also had to get some brass adapters so I could use my original fittings with the new master cylinder. That cylinder was a power unit, but it bolted right up to the firewall and accepted the original manual-style pushrod. The entire rear end came from the donor & was a breeze to install (heavy, but a no-brainer). I am puzzled by someone's contention that you need to change brake pedal assemblies. I didn't have to do this & everything has worked just fine:-)

: Now I have a question: can you swap rear drums from a Granada onto the Mav axle? The reason I ask is that those drums are a hell of a lot easier to find and are a hell of a lot cheaper. They are also a little larger and are finned. Gee, a bigger & better design that costs less to replace;-)
