: I have a few.

: How much of the front end will have to be changed?
: This car is a daily driver, I would not be able to take on a job I could
: not finish over a weekend.

: Is it a swap?
: Will it involve unbolting and replacing or true modification?
: I don't have access to cutting/welding facilities. Probably would not
: spend for it on this Maverick.

: Would it be worth it?
: Would rack an pinion be a significant improvement over Non-Integral
: Power steering? How & why?

first off this is a project of length and it requires all the tools of the trade. ie: welder, torch or plasma cutter ect. if you have the tools to do it then yes it is a good swap because the pinto IFS is a far superior design than the mav front. plus allof the available upgrades you can purchase for a pinto IFS are plentiful. brakes and urethane bushings plus you can set up the pinto IFS with ZERO bump steer as i have before. i have not put a pinot IFS under a mav but i have been researching it for awhile. the other guy leon says to chop the mav at the firewall and weld on the front mustang II clip but i think you could get away with just notching a rectangle out of the mav frame rails. that way you can retain your stock inner fenders and all of the front ed pieces will bolt back on right....
