: Well, I doubt the rear on this car is factory, it has big ol' mag wheels on it *drroooolll... either way the reason I've posted it again is that I lost the info... I actually found an old freind who not only can do all of the swapping BUT can get a hold of a car trailer to move the beast (look ma! no steering colum, two flats...) not only from the place where it is stored but also to the shop and finaly to the scales to be recycled... I don't have to screw with towing companies, storage or anything like that...
: Sorry if I pissed anyone off! THIS TIME I've copy pasted and PRINTED the info...

: *sheepish smile*
: Paulie, Paulie, Paulie, if you pissed anyone off that's their problem. I learned a long time ago the only dumb question is an UNASKED one. Make sure and check out the interior also, there maybe some use able stuff in there to. If you're not sure if the rearend is a 9" or 8" a quick and dirty way to tell is if you can get a 9/16" deep socket on the bottom two nuts it's an 8". The 9" pinion is to big a hanks down to far to allow it. It always has to be removed differently.
