For my comet I do all the work on it, from welding the roll cage to building the motor and doing the body work and painting it. The only stuff that I do not do myself is the machine work on the motor.
Letting somone else do the work and having to pay them takes all the fun out of it.

: who all has a shop to work in?? i am always reading how "i have to take it to my mechanic" from a lot of people. i'm just curious how may people here do their own work like myself and how many take em to shops.... ;o)
