I'm almost done replacing my brakes. I finally got in all the new lines yesterday, after much trouble with the double flaring tool ending with help from a really nice guy at the parts store who did it for free. By the way, thanks tbr and ron for the help on the ball joint problem. It ended up popping off when a guy I know who is fairly burly shoved the ball joint puller in from one end and a tie rod puller from the other and pried it apart that way. I noticed however that afterwords the ball joint seemed very stiff- I'm guessing that in my efforts to remove it I may have bent something. When I get the wheels aligned I'm going to get them to check all the ball joints and make sure the nuts are torqed to spec. My only problem now is rather frustrating. Last night I set out to bleed the lines and was hoping to have a working system by dark, but I was losing alot of fluid out of my driver side front disc. It was coming out of the place where the hose connects to the caliper. I have new hoses and bolts and copper washers, so I can't figure it out. I haven't gotten to look at it in the light yet, though. hopefully I'll be operating on the morrow. thanks again for the help, guys
