But "we" mean only the 'center section', 'third member', or 'pumpkin'. It's a "bolt-in" swap into a Mav/Comet axle housing using your axles. They were more common on the V8 equipped Mustang II's but some Pintos and Bobcats had them from the factory too...Sadly I have not yet been able to find one STILL in the car (somebody grabbing them up at $50 to sell at swap meets for $300 I'm sure!). The "axle" code on th door tag is the first/easiest place to look. If it's a letter instead of a number then chances are it's a TracLoc equipped car. Unfortunately I don't remember which letters to look for at the moment...I think "X" and "A" are 3.55 and 3.40 respectively (which I am seeking!!!) but I don't have a manual to reference at the moment..
