Auto electric is one tough area.
please descibe, in as much detail as possible, what is or is not happening.
When? Intermittently or constant? If intermittent, are there any other
ocuurances that happen just before or simultaneously?
What have you done so far to diagnose? Have hou checked all wiring for
frayed insulation, corroded or disconnected contacts?
Have you added any aftermarket products? If so did you cut/splice anything?
Were any aftermarket products added before you took posession? Have all
of those wirings/connections been checked?
Are the basics in good condition? Battery, cables, Ground wire(often overlooked as a
trouble source)Alternator... all connections clean and tight? coated with dielectric grease?
All wires solid? no weak spots, frayed or cut insulation corroded ends?
Have You cleaned everything with non residual electrical parts cleaner?
(about $5 for a can)
The time consuming chore of checking each wire/ connection for continuity is the
only way to find a problem for sure.
