$600! That's pretty good! I also have a 72 Mav that had a "Sick" cylinder until my friend stuffed in the home-brewed 351W(before I bought it). You have 89,000 miles? So do I! Of course there is the little matter of my odometer hasn't worked since even for the guy I bought it from... And I don't have a rust free body, although it is "free of body" in some areas! But, engine and trans are tops. I like to call it my little "sleeper." I have about half the investment you have, but you're lucky yours has a nice body.

: I paid 600.00 for my 72 Maverick with a 200 "sick" cylinder. I guess some would say that is top dollar, but I got a rust free body with 89,000 miles on it. My total projected restoration cost including the price of the car is 4200.00. Thats with a high output 351 Windsor. So what I am getting at is I would like to be able to get at least what I have in the car if I ever decided to sell. I saw a 73 maverick which could run in the 10s go for 12,000. I am hopeing to get into the 12s with mine, if I cant make it naturally aspirated a little laughing gas should do it.
