The FAQ page has a good description of how this is accomplished. Looks like a lot of work, but, it would most likely pay off.

Any complaints from you guys? My mav has power steering, and when I get the engine done, I plan on using it. I got looking at the Ram device and all the lines, and it does look kinda funky. My friend tells me that power steering off of a late model Mercury Sable will go onto a maverick and work better. Is he full of it?
