I'll tell you somthing that will make everyone cry, about five years ago I turned down the chance to buy a '74 Maverick that had 4000 miles on it. YES 4000 MILES!!! do I ever kick myself now (big time), this car was mint. It had the factory tires and exhaust on it still. You see he wanted $1500.00 bucks and that was way too much for a Maverick ( my '74 Grabber still needed a set of Cragers) What I would give to buy that car now ( I know where it is and they drive it) someday it will be mine. What you have to remember is that a, '70 Maverick is almost thirty years old,THIRTY!! how many thirty year old cars are still around? how many '70 LTD's do you see in a day? why would any auto salvage yard keep a car that very few people want parts for, not for the 25 bucks here and there but the big bucks for the new car parts (RIP OFF)If you can get a good car it's worth the money, look at what people pay for Model A's. Thats my 1500 dollar speach.
