My guess would be you've got a 6 cylinder car (I'm too lazy to check the old posts) and those are "sensors" for the Emissions System Electronic Spark Control on that car (V8 equipped cars didn't have those).
: I was disassembling my dash the other day, and I found this thing on the speedometer cable with 2 wires coming out of it, is it some cruise control device or what? I also took off the passenger side fender to find a little metal plate on the outside kick panel under the antenna. I loosened the two screws that held it on and on the other side were 2 wires going into it. What the heck is it? I guess if I had a shop manual, I'd know. Anyway, until I buy one, does anyone know what these two devices are?
