have you messed with the wiring harness where it joins at the firewall? and another thought, I was installation manager in a high end car stereo shop for a couple of years and I learned to never believe a fuse is good by simply looking at it. Yeah its weird but a fuse can be melted just a bit on one side and wont conduct electricity but will still look good. That was a lesson i learned and NEVER will forget. lol
