I've got the engine out of my Mav (it's getting new valves/springs/retainers, roller cam, 12.5 to 1 pistons, stud girdle, etc.) and want to tighten up the steering. Is a rebuild kit available for manual steering boxes? or are rebuilt boxes only available? I see Auto Krafters carries the rebuilt boxes, but think it would be cheaper and more convenient to just do the rebuild. Anyone have any info or thoughts on this?
