yeah yeah...me and the daddy-o did the I6 tranny swap onto the V8....it all seemingly went well...untill we started the sucker...there was a nasty clanging noise....turned out to be the bolts on the torque converter goin onto the flywheel...well...they were really loose...i thought i had tightened em....ANYWAYS...we tightened em up and the noise went away...now for driving it....it slipped like a son-of-a-bitch and wouldnt go into gear....then we added fluid and it finally got better....after the test drive it seemed ok..except for that its shifting at about 4500 rpm...wow...well...when you step on it to downshift it slips every once in a while in 2nd (the passing gear)but only when you really stomp on it...i dont know if a new tranny filter and fluid will take care of this...but we will see....
