I think the T5 would be better too, it costs about the same. There's something with the AOD (perhaps someone knows more about this than me) where it skips a gear? i think it goes from first to third while accelerating. I don't remember the specifics, just reading something about how some guy had made up a way to get around this because it was a problem with a lot of strip cars.
