There's something about Maverciks that i like... I've had my 70 Grabber since I was 13 and worked every summer and after school to turn it pretty fast street car. I now have a low 10 Second Mustang with a 460 but my Maverick is always gonna be my baby ! I'd sell my Mustang and my 63 Futura before I'd sell that Maverick !! I don't know if it's just b/c it's my first car, or b/c it's NOT a Mustang/Camaro, or the looks on peoples faces when I come back after running a 12 second pass in my daily driver.... I guess everything does it. But I will always be a Maverick Man !

: I have concluded that the only reason that I am RESTORING this car, not repairing, is that it is the last connection I have to my father. Dad was a mechanical engineer with a masters in electrical engineering. I am an electrical engineer. I have followed my dad's carrier path.

: Every time I drive that piece of crap I am with my dad. I miss the old man.
