I have 245/60/15 on the rear, with no clearance prob.'s at all. I think i could have easily gone w/255's. I have 3.5 inch backspacing on the wheels. There is a lip of sheet metal that sticks towards the wheel in the wheel well. I've seen people take wooden baseball bats and allow the wheel to roll the big end of the bat through the top part of the wheel well, thus bending the lip in. It worked fine...for non-show Mav.'s of course. good luck.
