Front end parts from a Mustang II fit a 74 Comet?

I posted below about my frontend troubles, will Mustang II parts fit on my car? someone has reccommended I go with older model mustang front end, but I can find mustang II parts easier. Trying to increase handling and decrease my cars tire appetite.
