No mavs came with a nine inch but granadas did and they are very close in size and will bolt up. Then Again if you are smart stick with the 8
It is lighter and can take a beating. it always amazed me that if you call Curry Enterprises they say they will hold upto 300hp and that is it. My father used to run 8inches in his fairlane and it was pulling 550Hp with a healthy 428scj. i also saw an article in car Craft that had a pinto with a 2.3L turbo and Nox with an 8 inch that was pulling 400 hp with stock axles. if a nine inch can be built to handle 2000 hp why cant an eight inch handle 1000hp ( just a brain teaser)
