: : : : I've got a '73 comet, 302, 4 door. So far, all I've done is split the exhaust. I want to get a new intake manifold and carb, but I also want to put disc brakes on the front. Is putting in disc brakes really worth it? Are they that much better than drums? I don't have a whole lot of technical experience, so if its really hard to do I might forget about it. I've noticed several times that my comet doesn't stop just extremely quickly, and have already had several near-scary experiences, which makes me want to do the brakes before the intake... Any opinions?
