Just finished cutting "ONE" coil off the factory springs of my 73 Mav. It dropped the front approximately 1 1/2 to 2 inches. If you cut the springs, cut them at half coil, then check the stance. Remeber to role the car after reinstalling due to the tires tucking in when raised. If this ain't enough, try cutting another 1/4. I would go a full coil though, at least if I had to do it all over again. Glad to have the spare set. Good luck.

: Hey! Well, almost everybody knows by know that Shelby liked to move the lower A arms down about an inch on his mustangs...i'm having some problems controlling my car while turning and i figured i'd either hack the springs down a coil or two relocate the "A" arms. I'd like to hear some arguments on which is better for the amount of effort put in, and also how easy it is to lower the A arms (assuming my shock towers have already been blown out for replacement).

: Thanks!
