Wouldn't do it Mopars with 318s and higher had rear and front sway bars.
Well, the "A" bodies did anyway.
The 318 has a 3.91 Bore and a 3.31 stroke. Max overbore only gives about
369 cubes or 6.0 Litres. Decent for a Maverick but the 318 weighs about
the same as a 351. The Dimensions are pretty simular as well.
The 351 has a 4.00 bore and a 3.50 stroke. Max overbore gives about
407 cubes or 6.7 Litres. Taking advantage of the longer stroke could
even more cubes 420 I think but don't hold me to that number.
Anyway if your going to buy a donor I say get a Ford. Mopar parts are
not easy to find nor cheap. Also, there may be problems like
interference with the steering column or the headers. Your $$$$ good luck.
