Is it really totalled? Who's opinion? The girl's ins co? They will try to get out cheap. Find a competent/well-respected bodyshop that will fix it then take that estimate to her ins co. If you can get it fixed and everything goes thru, get your ins co to insure your car for its "assessed" value and not the Blue Book price (there is none before a certain year (1989?). My sister's in ins and gave me this info. Good luck!
Bought a grabber that was parked for years, 69k orig miles, 302 engine, C4 tranny, body perfect. Anyway, did some work to it, ran great, drove it 10k miles, then got hit sitting at a stop, bucled the rear of the car. The insurance co of the girl that hit me wants to total it for pennies? Need some feed back on what it's worth from third parties so I can get enough to get it back to the shape it was in. Thanks to anyone who can get me some values that I can find on the web, print out and send in.
