...are a perfect match. The headrest and general profile is exactly like early mav seats. They are deeper and have better side bolsters - you sit "in" them, not "on" them. Good luck finding them, though.
: I gave up on finding mav buckets and went to the junkyard to see what else I could find that I could make fit. I came across a pair of buckets in a 1980 Mazda RX7 that looked almost like they were a direct bolt-in. If not, it was very very close. I haven't pulled them yet, but thought that any others who were bucket shopping might be interested. By the way, I looked at some other RX7s from later years (the junkyard was FULL of them)and they changed the mounting style somewhere between 1980 and 1983.
