Doesn't that just piss you off? When I was restoring my latest Maverick, I removed the dash pad to keep it protected, and stored it on a shelf in my garage. One day I was moving some things around, and wouldn't you know I knocked that beautiful pad onto the floor and cracked it! I was so mad, mostly because it was my own careless fault. My fix? I had the thing covered with the same cloth material that I had the seats and door panels re-upholstered with. It looks great, and I'll never have to worry about any more cracks...
: I get in my Maverick one fine Sunday afternoon...and what to i see? A crack going down the middle of my dash! ARG! I guess it must have been caused by sun damage or something? Is there anything I can do about this short of finding a new dash? This thing stares at me at all times while I'm driving...a crack in my otherwise excellent interior...
