Okay, here's my experience with Chevys. I used to own a 77 Camero, and although it was a lot of fun to drive, it seemed to break down every couple of weeks even though it was in pretty good shape when I bought it. My boss had a 77 z-28 that he bought new that broke down before he hit 10k miles. With virtually every Chevy owner I've talked to, particularily with Cameros, they seem to be a very fragile car. Also, one of the reasons that Chevy parts are so common is that they can be interchanged more easily from car to car (a Camero part usually fits a Nova, etc.)NOT because they are better. Chevy may go fast, but they don't seem to go fast very long. I have had MUCH better experiaces with my Comet than with the Camero, and I really do think that Mavericks were one of the best all aroud cars ever built.
