It's a tradition thing. My family has owned Ford's since Henry Ford made the 1st one. The biggest thing they all say when they buy another brand is that they loose the reliability and feel of there Ford's and usually trade in what ever the thought they liked in another brand for another Ford. As far as performace goes anything can be made to perform. What makes your boat float is more important. If you throw money in to something you don't like you can not make into something you will like. Just get what you like and have fun. THAT IS WHY I DRIVE AND FIX UP MY GRABBER, and that's what I tell everyone that ask's WHY A MAVERICK or Ford? As far as brand loyalty goes, it's like opinions everybodies got and you got mine.
