I made the mistake of just trying to install a gasket set on my newly acquired 302. The further I tore down, the bigger the bill. One thing is for sure, damn good think I did tear it down. The one of the cam bearings were broke, the timing chain was on it's last leg, and the gaskets were blown. You probably already know, but it is a good idea to tear the thing all the way down before buying anything for the motor. I learned the hard way....SWEET SCORE ANYWAY!!!!!!
