It vibrated a hair, kind of like an out of balance tire. It's a one piece driveshaft. But the yoke and all were in such bad condition, it was hard to tell. This thing could empty the case overnight! But it has gradually gotten worse. It was about the same when I got the pumpkin in. But the more I drive it the worse it gets.

: Did the truck have the vibration prior to the new pumpkin installation? I would triple check all u-joint and for good measure pull the driveshaft out again and make sure all joints are in between the tangs etc. Also i dont know much about Ford trucks but my 66 chevy truck has a 2 piece driveshaft and the counter weights have to be in sinc with each other or it will vibrate.
: : Just had to let everyone know that my wife had her baby Tuesday. He's 8 pounds, 6 ounces and 22 inches long!! We brought him home today! This is our first baby too. :)
: : Sorry to bring up something else, but I have an '82 F-150. 302/4 Spd.
: : This truck has a new rear end and u-joints. But it has a bad vibration when it hits about 40-45 mph. Its has good tires. It also gets worse if I push in the clutch and almost goes away when I accelerate. I didn't replace axle bearings, I just put in the "pumpkin". I need this truck on the road A.S.A.P. This is going to be my main transportation for a while. Any ideas or suggestions I would appreciate greatly!!!
