Hi! Since i bought my maverick, i have heard an annoying rattling every time i'm not accelerating. After about $200 worth of brake parts replacements (i thought the shoes were rattling on the backing plates, since they were worn down terribly), i realized taht this rattling was caused by the diffs....it's a long story, but i now know that's what it is. How hard are the diffs to get out, and more importantly IN? I've been told that a special machine is usually used, but that most diffs actually can be pried out. I have a 69.5 with the old 4 lug 24 spline axles. Has anyone else had this problem, and what was done?
