: I was reading Martin's drag strip messages, and I was surprised that the elevation change would improve the car's time from 14.52 to 13.30's. That's pretty good times Martin, is that with the stock cam, and are you running slicks? I'm also a home head porter. Me and my friend are going to race his '65 falcon at the track this summer, only problem is that falcons have very small wheel wells, so we're gonna have to do something to make the slicks fit.

Oooo, I like Falcons.
As someone who has traveled from California to Denver repeatedly, I can veryify that elevation does make a difference due to the thinner air. This can usually be compensated by adjusting your fuel\air ratio on you carb. I'm surprised that it took a full second off his times though.
