With some expirience in rebuilding automatic transmissions there are some things i would like to point out. First of all, a full manual valve body should only be used for a car that is only a race car. If you look a little harder you will find a kit that allows you to shift manually at any RPM, but still lets the transmission shift by itself when in drive, (street/strip.) Second, you can either buy a valve body, or you can modify the one you have which does save some $$. (As someone previously pointed out, if you want a reverse pattern body you have to buy one.) It isn't that difficult, but it requires patience. The instructions that come with the kit will explain it all, some even come with a video. If you have any other questions you can email me.
