I've used one on a '76 Comet. When done right (I painted it myself before installation using plastic paint from a place called the Eastwood Company). I had to do some minor trimming of the old dash pad to make everything fit, but when done, you almost can't tell it's not the original dash pad. It's not flexible vynal, so if you can tell by touch that it's not the original pad. I'd say that unless you're planning on restoring the car for show, or can easily find an uncracked NOS dash pad, it's a lot easier to go with the Accu-Form cover.
