Then when you get it painted have them mig weld the holes shut that are left from the trim. Then CAREFULLY remove anything that you don't want overspray on. Find someone out in the middle of nowhere that has a small buisness. Ask to see pictures of some of the work he/she has done. I found a guy that has painted a lot of prize winning street rods, etc. and has the best prices I can find. He works out of the garage behind his house, and does excellent work. If you go to a chain you'll get a bad price and lousy work.

What would look good on a Mav, I was thinking about bright red with 2 white racing stripes or Deep blue with 2 white racing stripes? How much do you think they would charge to get the vinyl top taken off also? I'm looking to spend around 7 to 8 hundred dollars.
