Well its time for me to confuse the heck out of everyone ;) One of my cars I have owned in my lifetime was a 1966 Comet Cyclone GT. This car was the Mercury version of the Ford Fairlane GTA. But in the begininng i do believe the comet was the sister of the falcon. Then the comet was discontinued and Mercury began the Montego, which brings me to tell you that I own a 1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler 429 scj and it is a montego based car which was a sister car to the rare 1970 Falcon. I need a beer...........

: Really? I had always assumed it was a twin to the Falcon. Although now you mention it, the one I saw (briefly) did look a little big to be a Falcon clone. So was there a Falcon clone? I really like Falcons a lot, if I didn't have a Mav, that's probably what my second choice would be.
: : : You guys have to help me out here. I had a dispute with my mother-in-law about her mint condition comet she sold (dumb idea) in 1985. She said it was a 1963. I corrected her and told her that comets were not made until 1971 so she called her husband and he backed her up. Am I crazy? They sold it to buy a 64 Ranchero.
