The 1999 mustang gt is rated at 260 hp at the flywheel..and 220 at the rear wheels..Check the specs..Plus it weighs in at a little over 3000 pounds..So its Not lighter than the maverick..:)
TL your right. They no longer measure HP at the flywheel they measure it at the rear tires. The cars of today are lighter taht is how they are as fast or faster than the classics. NOT with MORE HP.
