I had a similar prob couple months ago. Didn't drive it for a couple months. My prob was the timing needed to be advanced. The trick is to get it to run long enough to adjust the timing. May take 2 people. How's your battery? Turn your lights on and crank the engine. If the lights go dim while cranking chances are the battery is weak or the cables need cleaning. Also try holding the pedal to the floor while cranking. That will give you the most fuel possible to the carb.
