Just to show you how much of a Ford freak I am, I converted 4 of my Chevy-lovin' friends to Fords. One bought a '65 Falcon, one recently bought a '66 T-bird(428 motor, and pretty cheap), another friend recently restored his grandpa's '67 mustang that had been sitting in a field for 20 years, and my other friend is looking for an old Ford to restore.
All of them liked chevy cars solely because of HotRod and other magazines (They promote Chevy wayyyyyyy too much (Camaros on the cover page 4 times in a row this year, and a Nova on the apr. issue)), but luckily I turned them around.
