: I have a 71 Grabber straight 6 3 on floor. How can I get the bolts out of the manifold-exhaust to replace the donut. Got one side to go but the other is stubborn and comes out half way. Don't want to strip the nut

Another trick: Let the car warm up for maybe 10 minutes. Shut it off. Unscrew the pain-in-the-ass-bolt as much as you can, and then apply an ice-pack around the bolt for maybe 1-1\2 minutes (not too long, or the ice will affect the surrounding area also), which will cause it to shink a tiny bit (when metal gets cold, it contracts). This, combined with "72grabbers" suggestions of Liquid wrench, etc., might just give it that extra little bit of loosening that it needs.
