: Greetings from Vancouver Island, Canada's home of sweet old cars. Wondering if the car I looked at today is worth picking up. It's a '72 Grabber, automatic, two-owner car, Grabber Blue original paint and GOLD stripes, with 80,000 miles on the original 302-2V. A few bucks would make it mint; the little rust here and there is barely surface stuff. And the driver's seat, back seat, roof liner and dash are as new. $3,100 Canadian. Comes with original owner's manual and bill of sale for about $3,500 in 1972. I figure it has to be the nicest one I've ever seen, and the dollars seem right. I'm interested to hear what some Maverick devotees think. Please e-mail me or post.

I paid 3000 CDN for my 74 six cylinder Maverick which had ripped seats and a cracked dash..... The body is in great shape but I overpaid.
