That was one of the first things i checked, it also happend to me a few times.

: : well yesterday i decided to give my girlfriends mav (74 250) a mutch needed tune-up so i put in new points, condencer, plugs. i got everything in and gapped right and she went to start it and a really rapid "click click click ect." sound from the solinoid so i tried to jump it off my car and it made the same sound again.
