I'd go with the v8 for now....you may find that you even prefer the automatic (which is what you have now?). MAnuals are great for racing and stuff, but in traffic you're going to be annoyed! There's a lot of things you can't do wiht a manual that you can with an auto (i.e., eating in the car on the way to work).
In the end, though...it's your choice!
