Well the heads not iron but I feel like I've been pumping it. Last time I did this I had a roomate to help and we just kinda lined it up and put the bolts in. This time I'm alone (roomates ill) and have tried 3 or 4 times to get it to line up. Then went and bought some bolts. :-) Thier too small as I couldn't remember the right size while I was there, shoulda wrote it down, but they should work. Bought a power flush kit while I was out so I plan on doing that also. My arm were a bit sore last night tho. :-)

: ...or eating creatine! Those heads are HEAVY!! I always found putting it back on much harder than taking it off. If you haven't done this before, make sure you have two long bolts with the heads cut off & slotted for a screwdiver to use as guides. This will save you a kinked head gasket and slipped disk;)

: : Well I got the head off. Drained the radiator and left the draincock open. When I lifted the head I heard a bit of water running out the back end of the motor. When I got the head off enough to look (ever done that alone w/o a lift?) and noticed that there was sufficient water there to fill Cyl #6. Thankfully that Cyl was near the top of it's stroke. Alot of water ran over and onto the ground. I got most of the water out of 6 before it could run down but not all. I know I'm going to have to drain the oil and drop the pan now (Damn. Just did that a month ago.). The 2 water paths at the very back are still full of coolant. I used a basting bulb to pull some out but it just keeps setling back. It's not raised in the front so I'm assuming that it should've drained thru the radiator. I don't recall this happening before when I removed the head. Maybe I've simply forgotten it. Is this normal (stupid question?)? or is the water jacket clogged? If clogged what can I check/try besides a power flush?
