Well last 2 times I've pulled the pan there was about 1/4 a quart left in there after "draining" it. Course I guess I could just lift up the right rear to angle things toward the drain hole. :-)

: dont worry what you described is normal , you dont need to pull the pan
: just change your oil before you start the engine and give it time to drain good it will be fine . Furthermore,if you did have something large enough to block a passage in your block ...your radiator would be really clogged!
: Next time try removeing the lower radiator hose so that the block will drain a little better. On SECOND thought ,go ahead and do that now to let some more coolant out of the block ,I have used a wet and dry shop vac to vaceum the extra coolant straight out of the two back passages you`re talking about,it works good!
