I did get a power flush kit and some Prestone Super Flush stuff. The directions require the head be on though. :-) Just realized. All that water was stuck on the engine side of the water pump. Sigh. :-)

: now would be a great time to flush out the block, mebbe pipe cleaner type wire brush to clean any debris from the block's water passages... it can't hurt, hell of alot easier to do now than later if you have a problem...
